Tinton Falls EMS has been serving the Boro since 1955 with
volunteer members willing to serve their community and making it a
better, safer place to live. The North and South squads
are run by EMS members willing to
dedicate their knowledge and time to build a better community and
we need new members just like you to keep up with the demand of the Boro.
It is our mandate to provide the best emergency medical care to
the residents of Tinton Falls.
The Tinton Falls Emergency Medical Services (EMS) are divided
into 3 different squads. We have the North Squad, South
Squad, and Paid Squad which all serve the Boro in different
ways. The paid squad was formed in 2006 and was charged to
provide emergency medical services to the whole town during
daytime hours because most of our volunteers are unavailable to
respond to calls during working hours. The North and South
squad provide free emergency medical services to the Boro during
every night staffed with Tinton Falls
residents, just like you, who have been specially trained and
have years of experience performing first aid to residents. The members of
Tinton Falls EMS are all highly trained and qualified to perform
their duties. All riding members are currently trained
in First Aid and CPR. Our Active
Members who treat patient are all certified as Emergency Medical
Technicians (EMT) by the State of New Jersey and have the skill
and experience to help you with your medical emergency.
Our active members also receive
monthly training
classes about many topics they are likely to encounter in
the community and are required to recertify as EMT's every three
years. Those requiring advanced medical care are often
treated by Monoc paramedics
who work for a private company trained and certified to provide
advanced medical care and medicine under the orders of a hospital
doctor. Together we service the community of Tinton Falls
with the very best medical care available.
